Located predominantly on quality Waikiwi silt loam soils. The market for this type of land is quite diversified and driven primarily from a mix of cattle fattening, dairy grazing and a wide range of cropping, sheep farming and dairy units. In some circumstances, a consent may be required where there is a significant change of land use. Current utilisation is predominantly sheep farming with a mix of cattle and from October to May, generally graze 45 R2 heifers and 100 R1 heifers with a past history of dairy cow wintering.
